Way back before I got my drivers license, I use to work in the summer in local phone company and I was on the b2b side installing phone central systems etc. and we use to drive around the nearby municipalities and this road became very familiar.
Back then I also had a girlfriend that lived in Eura and we had common friends living in Eurajoki, so this road became familiar in off hours too.
Eurajoki is known for it's Onkalo, that will be the world's first long-term disposal facility for spent nuclear fuel and three nuclear units which number three is well known for its delays and cost.
Also, fun fact is that there is a phone co-operative shop that doesn't deal with telecommunications anymore, but is now managing and investing equity and funds for the co-operative shop.
